The library has added two databases designed to make researching your papers a little bit easier.  Both of these are geared towards first year seminar, although they could be potentially useful for students of all levels.

Global Issues in Context

Covering all the major issues facing the world today, browse the "big picture" ideas such as war, genocide, and poverty.
