ATLA Scripture Indexing

EBSCO has improved the indexing of their ATLA database scripture index making it much easier to find articles about particular verses. If you go to the database you can see this by clicking on the “Scriptures” link on the top, then selecting “expand” next to the appropriate book, followed by “expand” at the chapter of choice, and finally selecting the verse you’re interested in searching

Give it a try and see what you think:

St. Joe Reads!

All students and employees are invited to join residents of Saint Joseph in a summer book group sponsored by Clemens Library.

We will read The Night Birds by Thomas Maltman, a historical novel following a family of German immigrants to Minnesota and their encounters with the Dakota Indians. It’s a story about family secrets and how the past intertwines with the present.

Brown Bag Discussion – Noon on July 23rd
Author Visit – Evening of August 5th

Free copies of the book available to the first 10 students and faculty/staff who sign up! Additional copies available at 20% discount at the CSB and SJU Bookstores.

Call Clemens Library at 363-5611 to register.

We look forward to sharing this book with you!
