Is it possible to have library circulation open and close a half-hour later? Most student employees work 8-4:30, which makes it hard to get to the library to check things out. Plus, how many people reallly use the place from 8-8:30?

Thanks for your comment. While we're certainly open to anyone who wants to use our facility, our hours are set to meet the academic needs of our community. We will have some extended hours during the School of Theology program this summer.

Of course, we're open over the lunch hour - and we're certainly willing to pull books from our shelves and hold them at the circulation desk if you drop us a note ahead of time. Just give the library a call, or contact us at csbsjulibraryref@hotmail.com and we'll have the items ready for pickup (with an hour or two notice, please).

Hope this helps - thanks for your interest in using our libraries!

I recently graduated and am still living in the area for the summer. I was wondering if I could still check out books and movies while I am around this summer?

As an alum, you can get a borrowing card if you live within a 50 mile radius of CSB/SJU. Just stop in at either Circulation Desk to apply for one. You are allowed to check out books and government documents but not media materials. See complete policy at:
